Kept my choccy lab in excellent condition. The breed specific food is excellent although incredibly expensive. Gave my pup for the first 15 months before swapping (unfortunately) onto a cheaper brand for working dogs.

As Labrador Retriever breeders who have tried various products, we have found Royal Canin to be absolutely unbeatable. Our Dogs do not lose condition and the puppies adapt to and thrive so well with Royal Canin. Furthermore, less waste in one end means much less out of the other :-)

I've been feeding my yorkshire terrier for years and he loves it. The comment below is to be taken with a pinch of salt as Royal Canin does give a full list of ingredients on all dog foods in a pdf and they are happy to answer all questions. We have 4 yorkies in total and they are very healthy and bright and they love Royal Canin.

Royal Canin is another example of slick marketing over substance! I am a scientist, with a particular interest in nutrition. If you read the ingredients on the side of the bag (as they don't show them on the website, with good reason) you'll find a few nasty preservatives (BHA/BHT) which are banned in some countries as there is a risk of them being carcinogenic (Purina Beta is another offender).
