This is a brilliant wet food. My two dachshunds love it. They get a mix of all flavours and I can feed both dogs 3 days from one tray by mixing the wet in the dry also great for stuffing their Kong toys.

My dog Danny developed a disease known as Cutanious Histiocitocis about two years ago. I was told by a homeopathic vet to cook my own food for him as this is more natural and would help his medication to be more effective. The reason being, I was told was that in evolution terms dried food is very new and many dogs have not adapted to this method of feeding. Dan is an active Border Collie and up until then I had great difficulty getting him to put on weight. Every time I increased his dried food he developed tummy problems. After feeding him with my food he soon gained weight and looked fantastic. After about two years I began to find this method of feeding quite inconvenient. I would have continued though if I hadn't come across Naturediet. He has been on it now for about 4 months and is still in excellent health and is full of energy with no tummy probs whatsoever. I am really pleased that I have found a convenient way of feeding a healthy diet to my dogs. My dogs have a very active life competing in obedience and agility.

My 8 month springer spaniel was previously on Burns penplan farm wet food and JWB dry which he seemed to love. However we were concerned that he was getting frequent bouts of diarrhea which resulted in a few costly trips to the vets. We were advised to put him on a hypoallergenic diet and switched his dry food but kept him on Burns wet food. We did notice a slight improvement and his stools were firmer but he still kept getting awful wind. A friend recommended Naturediet which costs less than Burns and the reviews were very good too. After just 1 week of switching I have noticed a huge difference, no upset tummies, stools much firmer and no wind!! I have now been using this for 3 weeks and no previous problems came back until I tried the salmon and prawn sensitive. Although he had no diarrhea, his stools after eating this recipe were loose so I have switched him back to his favourite's either rabbit and turkey or fish and rice (this one is quite smelly). Touch wood have had no problems with rancid batches which other reviewers have mentioned. It is very much trial and error when it come's to finding the right food for your dog, am so pleased with this range which suits my springer prefectly. BTW his dry food is The Symply range which is just as good, health benefits since changing him has been fantastic.

My 10 year old springer has been eating lamb naturediet for about 6 years when we switched her from dry food to help her itchy skin. She has done well on it and although I didn't like the change when they altered the cooking method we carried on. In recent months there has been a distinct tang reminiscent of tripe/offal and while the company says there has been no change to the content the meat smells very different and not in a good way (and there has been a huge amount of packaging difficulties). My dog's skin problems have flared up again and I wonder if anyone else has noticed a change in Naturediet?

Although this food seems expensive at 87 pence per carton from my local pet store it is very good value in terms of quality and the very high meat content of 60%! Next time you feed your dog with its usual food check the meat percentage?! The higher the percentage the tastier it is! The food is good and solid as well as being approved by the Anti vivisection society (BUAV) and not being animal tested means I will not be changing to any other dog food.
My dog is in her senior years however she does does not really like the Rabbit and Turkey so will not be putting her on the Senior brand. Her coat is in good condition and has no problems with her anal glands, a sure sign there is no rubbish products in this brand. Highly recommended!

I've had my shepherd collie cross on this for about 6 months & am very pleased with it. She's a fussy eater, has a sensitive stomach & puts weight on very easily but I've had no problems at all since moving onto this- she loves it & has been a lot more healthy than before. They also do a much better range than some of the other natural dog food companies.

We have just found this food and decided to try it mixed in with Autarky biscuit. We just add 1/4 of a pack in with a smaller quantity of autarky and it works really well giving a very natural dinner which is very tasty and satisfing for both our GSD's. Expect to pay about 70p both 1 pack but when you split it into 4 per dog its good value! There is a good range of flavours. Beware though, the fish one is very smelly!!!

For the first time in 2 years my Great Dane now enjoys her meal times and looks enthusiastic to get to her food bowl. We have been feeding her with Naturediet since the end of January and we're delighted that she no longer has recurring loose stools and flatulence. Have tried several dry foods for dogs with sensitive digestion but none have worked for us! Naturediet is expensive but is worth all the endless worrying. Would be good if there was some sort of biscuit meal to add for dogs teeth and gums.

Having had both my boxer dogs on Naturediet throughout their lives (9 1/2 years), I was amazed when they both developed sensitive stomachs around last Spring. It was a constant battle from one end to the other-if you get my meaning! One of my dogs, who has always had digestive acid, almost ended up being kept in the vets after a particularly nasty attack of vomiting. As Naturdiet had been the only food she could tolerate up to this point I contacted Naturediet to see if they had changed anything about their recipe; the reply I got was horrifying. Instead of cooking the product at high temperature in open units they had decided to comply with 'holistic' measures and now cooked in closed units for half the time; the theory being to keep in more goodness. I have several friends who always used to recommend this food who have had to take their pets off it due to tummy upsets.... I will never use or recommend again.

With no additives I feel confident feeding this to my dog. She really enjoys it and loves me going to the fridge in the hope its her dinner I'm getting out. A good variety of flavours available and a range to suit all ages and type of dog. A fairly inexpensive food which is good for your pocket and good for your dog. The only thing I feel naturediet could do to improve its menu is may be add a mixer to it. Although it is a complete food I prefer to add a few biscuits to help her teeth.

I started my Stafford on Bakers complete & her behaviour changed drastically within days. She became edgy & wouldn't relax. I rang "Staffie Rescue" for advice & they told me the protein level in the Bakers was sky high & it contained a lot of colourants which were making her hyperactive & Staffs need a low protein food. So I tried Nature Diet after a lot of research & am very satisfied with it. She has been on it for about 12 years now. When she was diagnosed with liver problems about 18 months ago a special prescription diet was recommended for her, but when I thoroughly read the ingredients I realised it was almost identical to Nature Diet. After speaking to my Vet we settled for Nature Diet & Nature Zyme sprinkled on it (for pancreatic support). She is actually improving all the time. Equally importantly - she loves it ! The advisors there are also lovely people & very helpful.

My hunt for the holy grail of dog food has continued for 2 years now. Don’t get me wrong, I certainly don’t chop and change. Each food I have tried my boys on has been for approx 9 months per brand, with the usual slow change over from one food to the next.
I have to say that in general I have favoured the dried foods and have been impressed with Burns, James Wellbeloved and Natural Dog Food Company. My boys have tried and been fine on all of these.
So why did I decide to change again? Notice that I say they were ‘fine’…. not great, not bouncing with health and not overjoyed at the prospect of dinner time. Basically, I felt they were bored. Their reaction to their kibble was one of pronounced under excitement. They ate it because they were hungry. I kind of felt sorry for them. I thought, there must be something better I could be giving them. Also, although all these brands had excellent nutrition advice lines and advice was always forthcoming, I never saw the expected improvement in their health. One of my dogs is a major paw chewer and the other has pink itchy skin. This is still the case. So I wondered, could there be a food out there that my dogs will love and that really does make them healthier and happier????
My ultimate goal was to change my boys from processed dog food to a natural diet. I was therefore pretty sure that my interim switch would have to be to a wet food rather than dried. But what I wanted was a wet food that was not packed full of preservatives, flavourings and other nasties. Eventually I plan to prepare even the meat/bone mix myself but for now I was looking for a food that is as close to natural feeding as I could get but with the convenience of packet food.
I had seen Naturediet before, being advertised in magazines and on bill boards, but I never thought to try it. I think the whole Trude Mostue thing sort of put me off. It seemed a bit gimmicky. That is all I can say. I have no other excuse. But anyway, when I took a proper look at Naturediet it did sound interesting so I emailed their advice line and the reply was nothing short of fantastic.
Of particular interest to me was when Amelie (customer services) said “Our range would be a great way of getting their systems adjusted to lesser processed ingredients and indeed a lot of raw / BARF feeders use our food when home preparation is inconvenient.”
Even if you are not sure about Naturediet or you think a little more info would be useful, I would recommend you drop them an email at info@naturediet.co.uk or give them a call on 08700 132960. They also do lots of feeding advice fact sheets which you can download for free from their website.
All I can say for now is that my boys are really loving it more than anything else they have EVER been given. As for health benefits, only time will tell.

My 8-year-old crossbreed (Mack) has suffered from varying health problems all his life, most notably arthritis, digestive problems and chronic diarrhoea. I tried Burns for a while, and although good (with perhaps slight health improvements) I did not feel he was as healthy as he could be.
After scaring myself with thoughts of the BARF diet (fantastic idea, but I'd be sure to get it all wrong!) I decided to try the 'next best thing', Naturediet. What an improvement! Obviously his arthritis is not cured, but he is more lively and happy than I've seen him in a long time, and I am pleased to report his lifelong digestive problems are definitely a thing of the past (I think the addition of Naturezyme - the probiotoc powder in the range - was the deciding factor in getting this sorted out). And all of this within a few months of starting! And best of all - he absolutely loves it! So all in all, it's definitely well worth a go!

I use Naturediet for my girls when its not convenient to do the BARF diet. My girls have been on the BARF diet for a few months now and are fit and healthy, bouncing with energy and their coats are the best they have ever been... Naturediet is the closest I can get to it and they enjoy it too.
